The Ultimat is the firmest and lightest mat that GSC makes. Providing the firm support necessary for high impact activities by older and heavier users. Great for physical education, gymnastics classes, cheerleading, and the martial arts. Providing all of the "no bottoming out" characteristics required for all your high impact activities. Ultimats come complete with 2 inch Velcro fasteners on both ends. Ultimats are upholstered with tough 18 oz vinyl fabric. Knife coated on both sides, the polyester base fabric provides excellent tensile strength that resists abrasions, tears and punctures. Resistant to fungus, bacteria and mildew. Velcro fasteners are used to link sections of mats together in order to form one large mat. This is great for creating entire non-permanent mat flooring. This non-permanent flooring can be picked up and stored away during the off season so that multiple teams and instructors can use the same area.
